Dignity and Respect
1.1 Customers must treat every Helper with dignity, courtesy, and respect at all times.
1.2 Verbal abuse, threats, intimidation, or offensive language directed at a Helper is strictly prohibited.
Standards of conduct expected from every customer who books and engages a Helper through the Maidvy platform operated by Logibyte Technologies.
This Customer Code of Conduct (“Code”) forms part of, and is to be read together with, Maidvy’s Terms & Conditions. It sets out the standards of conduct expected from customers who book and engage domestic staff (“Helper”) through Maidvy (a service of Logibyte Technologies).
1.1 Customers must treat every Helper with dignity, courtesy, and respect at all times.
1.2 Verbal abuse, threats, intimidation, or offensive language directed at a Helper is strictly prohibited.
Customers must not discriminate against a Helper on the basis of caste, religion, race, ethnicity, language, gender, place of origin, or any other protected characteristic.
3.1 Customers must provide a safe, hygienic, and non-hostile working environment for the Helper.
3.2 Customers must honour the agreed working hours, salary, food, accommodation (for live-in staff), and other facilities as mutually agreed at the time of engagement.
3.3 Customers must not assign duties to the Helper that were not part of the originally agreed scope of work, without the Helper's and Maidvy's mutual consent.
4.1 Customers must pay the Helper's salary/wages directly and on time, as mutually agreed, independent of the service fee paid to Maidvy.
5.1 Customers must not attempt to directly hire, influence, or engage a Helper outside of the Maidvy platform, in circumvention of the applicable service agreement.
5.2 Customers must not sub-let, resell, or commercially exploit a Helper's services to a third party without Maidvy's prior written consent.
Customers must provide accurate, complete, and truthful information at the time of booking and while raising any support, complaint, or replacement request. Providing false or misleading information may result in rejection of the relevant request.
Customers must comply with all applicable laws, including labour and human rights laws, in their engagement with a Helper, and must not direct a Helper to perform any unlawful act.
8.1 Any breach of this Code may result in one or more of the following actions by Maidvy, at its sole discretion:
8.2 Maidvy reserves the sole right to investigate any reported breach of this Code and to take action it deems appropriate based on the outcome of such investigation.
Customers who wish to report any concern regarding a Helper, or who believe this Code has been breached by another party, may contact Maidvy support through official channels — customer support, WhatsApp, or their assigned Relationship Manager.
This Code shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising in connection with this Code shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Delhi, India.
