Worker Code of Conduct

Standards of conduct expected from every domestic Helper registered with or placed through Maidvy — operated by Logibyte Technologies.

This Worker Code of Conduct (“Code”) sets out the standards of conduct expected from all domestic staff (“Helper”) registered with, or placed through, Maidvy (a service of Logibyte Technologies). Continued registration on and engagement through the Maidvy platform is subject to compliance with this Code.

Clause 01

Professional Conduct

1.1 Helpers must perform their assigned duties honestly, diligently, and to a reasonable standard of quality and punctuality.

1.2 Helpers must maintain a courteous and professional attitude towards the customer and members of the customer's household at all times.

Clause 02

Honesty and Integrity

2.1 Helpers must not steal, misappropriate, or damage any property belonging to the customer.

2.2 Helpers must provide accurate and truthful information regarding their identity, address, experience, and skills at the time of registration and verification.

2.3 Any act of dishonesty, fraud, or misrepresentation may result in immediate removal from the Maidvy network.
Clause 03

Respect and Non-Discrimination

3.1 Helpers must treat customers and their family members with respect and courtesy, regardless of caste, religion, race, ethnicity, language, gender, or place of origin.

3.2 Helpers must not engage in any form of harassment, abuse, or inappropriate behaviour towards the customer, their family members, or other household staff.

Confidentiality

Helpers must maintain the confidentiality of any personal, financial, or household information they become aware of while working at a customer's residence, and must not disclose such information to any third party.

Clause 05

Safety and Conduct at the Workplace

5.1 Helpers must not consume alcohol, tobacco, or any intoxicating substance while on duty at a customer's premises, unless otherwise permitted by the customer.

5.2 Helpers must not bring unauthorized visitors to the customer's premises without the customer's explicit consent.

5.3 Helpers must follow reasonable safety instructions provided by the customer regarding the household.

Clause 06

Engagement Through Maidvy

6.1 Helpers must not solicit or accept direct engagement from a customer outside of the Maidvy platform, in circumvention of the terms under which they were placed.

6.2 Helpers must promptly inform Maidvy of any change in their availability, contact details, or ability to continue an ongoing engagement.

Clause 07

Compliance with Law

Helpers must comply with all applicable laws while performing their duties and must not engage in any unlawful activity on the customer's premises or otherwise in connection with their engagement through Maidvy.

Clause 08

Reporting Grievances

8.1 Helpers who experience abuse, harassment, discrimination, non-payment of agreed wages, or any unsafe working condition at a customer's premises are encouraged to report the matter to Maidvy immediately through official support channels.

8.2 Maidvy is committed to investigating such reports and taking appropriate action, which may include withdrawing the Helper from the assignment and/or restricting the concerned customer's access to the Platform.
Clause 09

Consequences of Breach

Any breach of this Code by a Helper may result in one or more of the following actions, at Maidvy's sole discretion:

  • Removal of the Helper from the assignment;
  • Suspension or permanent removal of the Helper from the Maidvy network;
  • Reporting of the matter to the appropriate authorities, where warranted.

We aim to acknowledge grievances within 7 business days and resolve them within 15 business days thereafter.
Clause 11

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This Code shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising in connection with this Code shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Delhi, India.
